As an emergency physician, I sincerely believe POCUS strengthens my clinical skills and makes me a better physician. I’ve had the chance to teach clinical ultrasound to consultants, residents and trainees from many specialties since 2014. This enhances my conviction that POCUS needs to be properly taught and integrated in clinical examination to avoid its misuse that could reduce its perceived credibility. This is the reason that made me join the Belgian Emergency Ultrasound Society (BEUS) in 2018.
BEUS is a group of passionate people from all over Belgium and I’m proud to be part of it.
